School Business Manager

Grade: BG14 starting salary £48,764 FTE (£45,428 pro rata)

Hours: 37 hours per week, 41 weeks (Term Time 38 weeks + INSET days 5 days + 2 weeks). An all year round contract would be considered for the right applicant.

Ashley Down Schools Federation is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed School Business Manager to work across Ashley Down and Brunel Field Primary Schools.

Ashley Down Schools Federation brings together 840 pupils and 80 staff in two local authority maintained primary schools and this is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to lead across a large organisation. This role is perfect for an existing School Business Manager in a single school setting looking for an additional challenge, or someone outside of the education sector with finance and management experience that would love to transfer to a school setting.

As School Business Manager, you will work closely with the schools’ Senior Leadership Teams to help shape the future of the Federation. You will be responsible for the management of non-curricular functions of the Federation and management of the administrative and site staff. Key responsibilities include finance management and budgeting, HR management and premises management.

We are looking for an experienced and flexible person with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and the wider school community.
