The Job:

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Team Manager. Working for a legal firm in central Bristol you will be reporting into the Assistant Operations Manager and will have responsibility for a team of approximately 20 Case Handlers and Office Assistants. This is working in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Meeting and seeking to exceed service level agreements by actively managing work levels, quality and resources within the team.
  • Using various management tools and methods, managing work quality, policy compliance and service standards, including MI, league tables, audits.
  • Ensuring supervision meetings and appraisals are undertaken with your team.
  • Developing talent within team by identifying individuals' potential and actively supporting them through delegation, coaching, mentoring and training
  • Supporting team with technical and day-to-day queries
  • Leading committees, projects and initiatives
  • Pro-actively building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, through actively engaging with clients on a day to day basis.

The Person:

For this role, our client is looking for someone who has:

  • Previous management experience
  • Ideally experience in insurance or financial services or a regulated company
  • Client care skills
  • Experience of working within a volume caseload environment
  • Ability to multi task
