Facilities Manager

Oldbury-on-Severn, Bristol (BS35 1RQ)

Full-time | Permanent

Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5pm (40 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee site operations at a large facility in Oldbury-on-Severn, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on manager with strong leadership and project delivery skills, ideally from a mechanical, electrical, or building services background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the site, leading a team of 30+ contractors
  • Oversee FM project management and ensure service delivery meets KPIs, CPIs and PIs
  • Manage subcontractor performance and monitor operational costs to meet financial targets
  • Lead on health & safety, compliance and contribute to the audit process
  • Provide accurate operational finance reporting and management information
  • Engage with key stakeholders and ensure strong client relationships
  • Deliver project works to a high standard, on time and within budget

Essential Requirements:

  • C&G Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Air Conditioning/Refrigeration
  • IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS certification
  • Good working knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of leading multi-disciplinary team.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in high-compliance environments such as energy, defence, or industrial sectors
  • Understanding of facilities management in secure or regulated sites
