The Head of Business Support plays a strategic and operational leadership role. This individual ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused administrative services. Working closely with the Head of Service Delivery, this role oversees administration, compliance, and client accounting functions while fostering a culture of professionalism and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, conduct performance reviews, support recruitment, and foster collaboration across departments.
- Administration: Ensure the efficient progression of tenancies, oversee property marketing, and supervise tenancy agreements and compliance documentation.
- Compliance Management: Stay updated on lettings legislation, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to legal standards such as health and safety and landlord-tenant law. Deliver regular performance reports, identify risks, and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives.
- Client Operations: Oversee accurate and timely rent collection, deposit management, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Customer Satisfaction: Handle complaints and disputes with professionalism, resolving issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure a seamless customer journey and promote a culture of innovation and purpose-driven work.
About you:
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in residential lettings, compliance, or similar fields.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Proven expertise in team management, coaching, and process optimisation.
- A strong advocate for change and deeply committed to leveraging digital innovation.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including property management software and Microsoft Office.
