A leading specialist insurance broker is seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Client Executive to join their team, focusing on clients in the construction, architecture, and engineering sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to architects, engineers, surveyors, and other construction professionals, ensuring they have the right Professional Indemnity (PI) cover for their unique risks.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering independent, consultative advice tailored to the evolving risks of the built environment.
  • Work closely with insurers and underwriters to negotiate and secure comprehensive, competitive coverage for clients.
  • Oversee policy placement and renewal, ensuring clients receive the most appropriate terms and support.
  • Provide guidance on claims processes, helping clients navigate professional negligence disputes and understand their contractual risk exposures.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks within the construction sector.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in Professional Indemnity insurance, ideally with a focus on construction, architecture, or engineering clients.
  • Strong understanding of contractual and regulatory risks faced by construction professionals.
  • Excellent client management and consultative sales skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Negotiation expertise, particularly in working with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • A proactive, commercially astute approach to insurance broking.
