The salary for this position is up to 25,000 per annum.

Package and Benefits of a Customer Service Underwriter:

  • Salary: Up to 25,000 per annum
  • Location: Bristol
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday, working rotating shifts between 8:00am - 6:00pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-12.30pm

Responsibilities of a Customer Service Underwriter:

  • Providing exceptional service to customers by dealing with requests about customer policy, insurance renewals, and mid-term adjustments
  • Interacting via live chat as well as through telephone calls
  • Considering customers' requirements and developing long-lasting relationships by building rapport
  • Actively responding to customers and going above and beyond to help them
  • Working as part of a great team!

Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Underwriter:

  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Great communication skills with a friendly and approachable telephone manner
  • Customer-focused, with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated but a great team player
  • Ability to make rational and logical decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Determination to always achieve high quality, even when challenged and working under pressure
