Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for delivery van drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth. The roles will involve delivering retail items to stores and completing between 2-10 deliveries per day. The positions are long term and you will be working 5 days out of 7 per week, please see below for further details.
Working Hours:
- Working 5 days per week (you will receive a rota) - occasional weekend work involved
- Start times between 6am - 9am
- Shifts will be around 8-10 hours long
Pay Rates:
- Basic pay rate for the first 45 hours weekly is 13.50 per hour
- Overtime after 45 hours weekly paid at 20.25 per hour
All candidates will need to pass a driving assessment and complete a paid 2 days' induction process. You will then receive further 3 days' training with one of their existing drivers and will start working by yourself afterwards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
- Previous experience in a driving role
- Good customer service skills and telephone manner
- Ability to work occasional weekends
