Sonic Summary

Pertemps is partnering with Parcelforce to hire 7.5t Collection and Delivery Drivers in Patchway BS34 due to increased demand.
The role involves planning delivery routes, conducting vehicle safety checks, and delivering parcels to homes and businesses, with a starting hourly rate of £20.77 for 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Candidates should be upbeat, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team, while being comfortable lifting parcels up to 30kg.
A full UK manual driving licence with 7.5 tonnes (Cat C1) entitlement, DCPC, and tacho is required, along with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
Applicants must also pass a full DBS security check and should not have IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements.

Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with Parcelforce to source 7.5t Collection and Delivery Drivers to support with their busy operation.

Location: Patchway BS34
Hours: Monday Friday. 1000 start, 38 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £20.77 per hour

About the Collection and Delivery Driver role
You'll start your day in the delivery office, planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. Youll then be collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.
You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.
Parcel force deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy being outdoors and comfortable lifting and carrying parcels weighing up to 30kg.
You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.

Previous Experience

You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.
A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) with 7.5 tonnes (Cat C1) entitlement
DCPC and tacho
Maximum 6 penalty points
