I am delighted to be assisting a wonderful Bristol based HR Leader who due to continued business growth, is looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join the team!

We are looking for an HR Advisor who is up and coming in their career, ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic professional services environment! The ideal candidate will be Bristol-based, with a solid background in Employee Relations and a passion for developing and applying people policies. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and the opportunity to work on both operational and strategic HR initiatives.

Day to day of the role:

  • Provide guidance on a range of Employee Relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, performance management, and phased returns to work.
  • Review and apply people policies ensuring they are in line with up-to-date employment law.
  • Work in a reactive environment that requires flexibility and the ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Coach, empower, and challenge managers, taking initiative to build strong relationships and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Support day-to-day HR operational queries and assist with integration projects and alignment with group policies and processes.
  • Drive results with a proactive and hands-on approach, ready to roll up sleeves and contribute to the team’s success.
  • Maintain a balance between people-focused and commercial aspects of HR, demonstrating the ability to have difficult conversations and make tough decisions when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in Employee Relations.
  • Level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards it, with a strong understanding of employment law.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
  • Confident and outgoing personality, with a focus on building relationships and taking initiative.
  • Experience in the private sector is essential
  • Strong commercial awareness and preparedness to handle complex HR issues.
