I am looking for a Senior HR Advisor to support a Financial Planning arm of this business, working closely with managers and the Senior People Business Partner to deliver key HR services. This hands-on role involves providing guidance on employee relations, policies, and employment law while helping to foster a positive and high-performing work culture.

The Senior HR Advisor will focus on handling employee relations issues like performance, absence, and grievances, supporting wellbeing initiatives, and providing training to build management capabilities. You'll also assist in performance reviews, salary processes, and help implement HR policies and procedures.

This hybrid role requires you to work 3 days a week in the Bristol office, with flexibility for remote working on the remaining days. You'll thrive if you're adaptable, a strong communicator, and comfortable navigating change and ambiguity, especially within a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support on employee relations (e.g., absence, capability, leave, grievances)
  • Provide HR support during formal meetings, hearings, and appeals
  • Revise and implement people policies, educating the business on best practices
  • Collaborate on employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Help managers with performance reviews and manage HR data analysis
  • Assist with reward processes, salary reviews, and HR policy improvements

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Strong experience in employee relations and employment law
  • Financial services or private sector experience preferred
  • Comfortable working autonomously with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Experience with integrations/TUPE is a bonus, but a willingness to learn is essential
