HGV Class 1 drivers are needed for ongoing, full-time work in Severn Beach, BS35, starting ASAP until the end of December. The role involves multi-drop store deliveries with 1 to 6 drops daily, requiring the unloading of your own vehicle. Candidates must have a UK Class 1 driving licence, Full CPC, and Digi card, along with good communication skills. The pay rate is £20 per hour before 6am, £17 per hour after 6am, £22 per hour on Saturdays, and £25 per hour on Sundays. No holidays are allowed from December 23, 2024, to January 5, 2025, and applicants should be comfortable driving a Class 2 vehicle when needed.

HGV Class 1 drivers required for ongoing, full-time work based from a depot in Severn Beach, BS35. Start ASAP and ongoing until the end of December, to cover busy Christmas period

Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday
Extra shift available to anyone looking to pick up some overtime
Start times between 01:30 and 06:00.
Before 6am - £20 per hour
After 6am - £17 per hour
Saturday - £22 per hour
Sunday- £25 per hour

Weekly or monthly pay options available
Holiday pay on accrual basis
Free parking on site

About the job

Multi-drop store deliveries – between 1 and 6 drops daily
You will be required to unload your own vehicle – dollies, cages and pallets

The right candidate

UK Class 1 driving licence, Full CPC and Digi card.
Comfortable with handballing
Excellent communication skills
No holidays booked from 23rd December 2024 – 5th January 2025
Happy to drive a class 2 vehicle when required (Class 1 pay rate still applies)
