We are currently looking for a Class 1/ HGV 1 Flatbed Driver to join the team in Avonmouth Bristol, you will be driving a Class 1 Flatbed vehicle, usually completing 1 delivery each shift, Trunk run. Starting at 5pm a typical day could be up to 8 to 9 hours, working Monday to Friday.
You will need to strap and secure the load, complete vehicle checks and complete paperwork. However, no handball and no heavy lifting will be involved as the truck is loaded and unloaded for you by Crane.
This is a good opportunity for ongoing Class 1 / HGV 1 work, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role, working with a great team and a company who value their employees.
Hours and Pay
- £17.50 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.
- Working Monday to Friday starting at 5pm, usually finished by 2am.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.
- Valid Tacho and CPC.
- Safety boots, high viz and hard hat.
- An understanding of health and safety.
