The role involves delivering products via cages to stores in the South West, with shifts running from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 17:00 and lasting an average of 7-12 hours.
PAYE rates for the position are £18.00 per hour on weekdays, £20.00 on Saturdays, and £22.50 on Sundays, with overtime paid at £22.50 per hour for hours over 48.
Applicants must demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and a good understanding of EU Drivers Hours and Health and Safety regulations.

Class 1 driver (PM) - Immediate Start

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for a Class 1 driver on behalf of our client to join our well-known client's distribution site based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35 4DF).

This Driver Class 1 position is solely working over the course of the evening/night with the purpose of ensuring the safe delivery of products via cages into stores based across the South West.

Available Shift Information:

Sunday to Thursday (17:00-23:00 Start time)
Occasional extra shifts available on Saturday's

Job Details:

Delivery of everyday products by cages into store holding areas.
There will be multiple drops per shift. (2 - 4)
Unloading of the vehicle and the reloading of empty cages with driver's mate
To the best of your ability to assist in completing all drops safely and on time.
Ensuring all goods are handled with care.
Ensuring that Health and Safety is followed at all times.
Average shift length is between 7-12 hours.
A minimum of 8 hours paid for each shift.
Able to consistently work on nights.
Ensuring the goods being delivered match against the delivery paperwork.

YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

C+E (HGV Class 1)
Digital Tachograph Card (Driver Card)
CPC - Driver Qualification Card
Positive and flexible approach to work
A minimum of 6 months UK driving experience
No more than 6 Penalty Points on the licences
A good understanding of EU Drivers Hours & the WTD
A good understanding of English, both written & verbal
All drivers will need to have had experience in a similar role
