MONDAY - FRIDAY: 4.00AM - 6.00AM STARTS

SHIFTS CAN VARY BETWEEN 8 - 12 HOURS

PAY RATE: £16.50 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations (home delivery)
• Working as a 2-man crew, loading and unloading
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Newly passed drivers welcome
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be physically fit due to heavy lifting
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience with home deliveries
• Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training

• Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
• After successful Assessment, there will be a paid induction.
