Class 2 Driver

A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently seeking skilledHGV Class 2 Tanker Drivers(NON ADR) to join our reputable client inAvonmouth, a leader in the production of dry silo mortars, renders, screeds, and kiln-dried sand for the construction industry. Our client operates across England, Wales, and Scotland, providing essential materials to the construction sector.

Temp:16.50 per hour, OT 19.50 per hour (12 weeks)

Perm:37,600 per annum, Time and a half - Saturdays & Double time -Sundays & Bank Holidays

Job Overview:

• Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays
• Shift Times:AM shifts starting at5:00 AM, with an average shift length of10 hours
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours once perm:48 hours
• Temp to Perm Opportunity:Start on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dry materials to various construction sites across the region
• Complete between 1 to 3 drops per shift
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational standards
• Maintain high standards of customer service while delivering materials
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• HGV Class 2 Tanker experience preferred, but training will be provided
• Clean UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• At least 1 year of HGV driving experience (required for insurance purposes)
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card
• Knowledge of WTD (Working Time Directive) and drivers' hours regulations
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
