JR211: Class 2 Removals Driver
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up To £29,952 Per Annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Removals Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- LGV driving
- Warehouse duties as required
- Ensuring compliance with driving time directive and legislation
- Responsible for the legal operation of the vehicle - including locking, parking, cleaning, fuelling etc.
- Daily checks on vehicle - oil, water, lights, fluids, tires
- Report on any damage to vehicle or its load
- Read and receive daily orders
- Ensure adequate packing materials and equipment are on the van for the day’s job(s)
- Complete legal and Company documentation
- Packing assorted household/office goods
- Transporting household/office goods to/from vehicle
- Liaising with customer regarding placement of effects and unpacking where required
- Ensure paperwork for each move is complete and return to general office
- Carry out further tasks exigent to the circumstances of the Company
Skills and Qualifications:
- Class 2 Licence
- Driver CPC Card
- Digital Tacho Card
- Physically fit
- Excellent customer service skills
