HGV 1 Tanker Driver

Great opportunity for a Class 1 Tanker Driver in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Are you an experienced Class 1 driver, looking for Tanker work? This is not an ADR role, so no specialised licences are required.

Permanent work with an immediate start, weekly pay, easy online application.

You will be given full training, usually for 2 weeks. This will enable you to fully understand the role before you are sent out on your own as a Tanker driver.

You will be driving a Class 1 Tanker to deliver pressurised building products to sites across the southwest. A typical shift would start at 5am and last 10 hours, completing 1 to 3 deliveries, working Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturday, paid at an enhanced rate.

This role is suitable for someone with or without Tanker experience, as full training will be given. We also have multiple vacancies available.

This is a great opportunity for permanent HGV Class 1 work with a reputable company, with the opportunity to upskill and gain Tanker experience.

Hours and pay

• Working Monday to Friday starting at 5am and usually working 10 hours a day.
• Optional overtime on Saturdays paid at an enhanced rate.
• 17 per hour paid weekly every Friday.
• 20 per hour on Saturday.

Requirements

• Previous Class 1 / HGV1 driving experience
• Tanker experience is desired but not essential
• Full UK driving licence, with category C+E
• Valid Tacho and CPC
• A good knowledge of WTD and Tacho rules
• Safety boots and high viz
• An understanding of health and safety
