Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Avonmouth
Work Days: Monday to Friday (Occasional nights out)
Salary: £31,000
We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client Avonmouth. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 2 license, a CPC card, and a solid background in driving heavy goods vehicles while adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Accurately record delivery information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members.
- Ensure goods are handled carefully and securely loaded.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license and CPC qualification.
- Competence in using GPS and other navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
- There is not much lifting or manovering required in this role. .
- Standard 40-hour work week with no weekends or bank holidays.
- Company shutdown over Christmas period.
