We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our well-known client from their distribution centre in Avonmouth. You will be delivering white goods and electronics to stores around the UK.
Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift.
Working any 5 out of 7 weekly with flexible shift times on days between delivering to store locations and nights between trunking.
PAYE rates of pay for a HGV Class 1 Driver :
- Days £18.19
- Nights £19.21
- Saturday £20.23
- Sunday £21.25
Your Time at Work
Key responsibilities of a HGV Class 1 Driver
- Store Deliveries - an element of handball will be required.
- Using the dolly truck and tail lift
- Ensuring the safe delivery of the load
- Maintaining the highest standards at all times
- Abiding by all UK driving laws
- Some heavy lifting
- 11 - 15 hour per day

What are we looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver ?
- Valid CPC and DIGI card
- No more than 6 points
- No IN, DD, DR
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Good geographical knowledge
