Role Description:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customer stores. This role involves caged deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Safely transporting goods to designated customer stores.
- Managing caged deliveries with attention to detail.
- Ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Shift Pattern:
- Friday to Tuesday or Thursday to Monday
- 06:00 AM start time
Pay Rate:
- £17.16 - £19.59 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
- Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card.
- Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge.
- Ability to handle caged deliveries.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
