Sonic Summary

CDL is seeking an HGV 2 driver for a temp to perm position in South Gloucestershire, Bristol, to support a well-established client delivering timber and decorative surfaces across the UK.
The role requires candidates to have a full, valid category C licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card, along with Class 2 multi-drop experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday with a start time of 06:00, and responsibilities include daily vehicle checks and ensuring timely deliveries.
Candidates must possess good communication skills and provide excellent customer service, with experience in timber products being preferable but not mandatory.
The salary for this position is competitive, reflecting the experience and skills of the candidate.

CDL have been supplying logistic companies for over 20 years. We are looking for HGV 2 driver on a temp to perm basis for our well established client based in South Gloucestershire, Bristol.
Our client delivers timber, panels and decorative surfaces across the UK.

This position is Monday to Friday, with 06:00 starts.

Your responsibilities will include:

daily vehicle checks
providing a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently
completing relevant paperwork for deliveries/collections
navigating busy roads to optimise timely deliveries
working confidently on multi-drop routes with deliveries and collections
provide excellent customer service

Candidates must have:

A full, valid category C licence
A full, valid CPC and digital tachograph card
Class 2, multi drop experience
Good communication skills

Our client is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates. Experience working with timber products is also preferable, but not essential.
