The Company:
Our client is a well-known company based in Bristol (BS2) with an established reputation. They are offering an opportunity for a Class 2 recycling driver to join them on a Monday to Friday shift pattern offering experience for newly passed drivers as well as welcoming experienced HGV drivers.
The Opportunity:
We are recruiting for a recycling driver for a local waste management company collecting recycling in the Bristol area.
You will be working with 1/2 loaders every day and you will be required to drive around residential streets to pick up their recycling. Although the loaders will primarily be loading the vehicle, you will be required to help with loading, so a standard of fitness is required to enable you to get in and out of the lorry throughout your working day as well as lift the waste.
There is an induction where full training is provided.
Start times/shifts
06:00 - 14:00/14:15
Overtime is available which is paid 1.5x the basic rate (£21.96)
You will be guaranteed a minimum of 39 hours per week

Key Requirements:
HGV 2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, CPC Card
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Unfortunately, we cannot take anyone with a DR10 on their licence
