The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) for a well-known client in the Avonmouth area.
The position offers a 40-hour contract with set shifts, either days at £13.52 per hour or nights at £15.15 per hour.
Drivers will be responsible for securely moving palletised parcels, handling 4-5 delivery stops, and may assist with loading and unloading.
Candidates must have a full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement, a valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and no more than 6 points on their licence.
The role is ongoing with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate, and excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset are essential.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Avonmouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Days or nights on a 40 hour contract.

Pay Rate: Days - £13.52/ Nights £15.15

Location: Avonmouth , BS11

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

Working set shifts (rota planned in advance), 5/7 shifts every week – days or nights.
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
40 hour workweeks for full time positions but flexible contracts are an option.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A safety-first mindset.
