The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) for a well-known client in Avonmouth.
The position offers a pay rate of £14.11 for day shifts and £15.80 for night shifts, with a 40-hour contract.
Candidates are required to have a full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement and a valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
Applicants should have no more than 6 points on their licence and must be prepared for a short driving assessment.
This ongoing role has the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Avonmouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Days or nights on a 40 hour contract.

Pay Rate: Days - £14.11 / Nights - £15.80

Location: Avonmouth , BS11

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

Working set shifts (rota planned in advance), 5/7 shifts every week - days or nights.
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
40 hour workweeks for full time positions but flexible contracts are an option.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A safety-first mindset.
