A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 2 Tanker Drivers (NON ADR) to join our reputable client in Avonmouth, a leader in the production of dry silo mortars, renders, screeds, and kiln-dried sand for the construction industry. Our client operates across England, Wales, and Scotland, providing essential materials to the construction sector.

Job Overview:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays
  • Shift Times: AM shifts starting at 5:00 AM, with an average shift length of 10 hours
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours:48 hours
  • Temp to Perm Opportunity: Start on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dry materials to various construction sites across the region
  • Complete between 1 to 3 drops per shift
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational standards
  • Maintain high standards of customer service while delivering materials
  • Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • HGV Class 2 Tanker experience preferred, but training will be provided
  • Clean UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
  • At least 1 year of HGV driving experience (required for insurance purposes)
  • Valid CPC and Tacho Card
  • Knowledge of WTD (Working Time Directive) and drivers' hours regulations
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
