Job Type:Full time, long term ongoing. Monday to Friday, 7am starts with average shift length of 8 hours.
Pay: £180 day rate.
Location:Bristol, BS34.
Responsibilities:
Deliver up to 100 parcels per day, catering to both business to business and business to consumer deliveries.
Operate on a Monday to Friday basis, with shifts typically lasting up to 8 hours.
Maintain professionalism and efficiency in handling deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of parcels.
Adhere to road safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Navigating industrial and residential estates with care.
Utilising a handheld scanner for POD and route optimisation.
Loading and unloading vehicles and finishing the assigned routes safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
UK driving license held for at least 12 months.
Clean driving record with no more than 6 points for minor offenses.
A suitable long wheelbase van, fully insured with the correct business cover. This includes public liability insurance and goods in transit cover.
Valid MOT and vehicle tax.
A clean and well-maintained vehicle that meets legal standards.
Self employed status, with registration evidence from the HMRC.
Ability to work during peak periods, and bank holidays.
Strong work ethic and determination to succeed in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
