Resolve Care Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Chef to join a well-respected care home team in Thornbury Bristol. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious and delicious meals for residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about cooking and improving the quality of life for elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook balanced, nutritious meals in line with dietary requirements
• Plan menus in conjunction with head chef with input from residents and healthcare staff
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations
• Manage food stock and ensure waste is minimized
• Communicate with other chef and residents residents to ensure their dietary preferences and needs are met
• Ability to commute to Bristol, Thornbury

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards (Food Hygiene Certificate desirable)
• Ability to cater to various dietary needs, including allergies and texture-modified diets
• Compassionate and patient, with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care home team
• Ability to commute to Bristol, Thornbury

The Package:

• £24,336 - £27,705.60 D.O.E based on a 2-week rotational rota.
• WK 1: Mon & Tue 06.00:16.00, Sat & Sun 08.00:18.00 WK 2: Mon & Tue 06.00:16.00 Thurs & Fri 08.00:18.00
• 36 hours per week including every other weekend & 4 scheduled bank holidays. Paid extra for any additional bank holidays.
