About The RoleYou will be working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Overall, Purpose of the Role:

  • To ensure that adequate products, equipment, and materials are properly stored, used, maintained and controlled.
  • To provide high quality product at all times to the client.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Maintain positive staff attitudes and team spirit.
  • To continuously train and develop staff skills.
  • Maintain all records in line with legislation and company policy.
  • Deal with disciplinary and grievance issues consistently, fairly and in line with company policy.
  • Always ensure compliance with legal requirements such as Health & Safety at Work, display of all necessary notices, accidents reporting and first aid.
  • Carry out on the job training in such areas as Health & Safety evacuation policy, dangerous equipment and basic food hygiene in liaison with the Client Account Executive and OCS HR Department.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in quality establishment.
  • Management experience within catering environment gained in Contract catering.
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Must be self-motivated and results orientated with effective inter - personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and delegate effectively to direct reports.
  • Ability to mentor and develop subordinates, counselling and coaching as necessary.
  • High degree of interest in their own personal development and future career progression.
  • Flexible approach to working hours required.
  • Full driving licence essential.
