One of the UK's leading engineering firms is expanding its Information Management team, with several exciting opportunities available. We are working on a major BIM (Building Information Modelling) project in the defence sector and are seeking experienced Information Managers to join us. Both permanent and contract roles are available, with full support provided to those new to contract work.

Key Details:

Salary: TBC, but circa £45,000-75,000 depending on experience (multiple positions available)

Day rate: TBC but circa £350-500 depedning on experience

Location: Bristol hub + hybrid working model

Long-term: Due to the firm's huge growth plans, we can offer various strcutured and unstrucutred career plans. Plus offer training in areas such as BuildingSMART Professional Certification, CDE administrator, Revit, Navisworks, Solibri (Fundamental, Advanced & COBie)

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate Information Management (IM) processes on a complex design and build project.

- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

- Oversee information exchanges within the Common Data Environment (CDE).

- Support technical reviews and project meetings, including documenting minutes and tracking actions.

- Facilitate the management and delivery of document packages, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely resolution of issues.

- Maintain CDE schedules and promote best practices in information management.

- Provide document management reports and ensure full traceability and auditability of information transactions.

- Manage and mentor a team of Document Controllers and Information Managers.

Key Requirements:

- HNC/HND (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline. A degree in engineering would be a bonus.

- At least 5 years of experience in design and construction within regulated sectors such as nuclear, energy, transportation, or infrastructure.

- Strong knowledge of building infrastructure assets and proficiency in BIM standards.

- Experience with data management systems and technical governance.

- Understanding of the ISO 19650 BIM collaboration process and use of CDE.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
