Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Data Quality Officer to join their team

You will

Key Responsibilities

Undertaking manual cleansing of the EYES and EHM education management systems. This will involve checking records to ascertain their accuracy, adding in missing details and removing system conflicts'.

Engaging with service officers to assess and determine the accuracy of the records of the learners they case manage. Escalating complex errors to the project team for resolution.

Contacting and working with schools, when required, to determine the accuracy of records they send via the live data feed. Promote data cleansing best practice with service staff.

Analyse the causes of data quality issues through the cleansing process, sharing these with project team.

Deliverables

A set of clean and accurate datasets the service has high confidence in.

Best practice learnings shared with service staff. Requirements Essential

Significant experience of working in health, social care or education environment and working in partnership with children, young people and their families, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disability.

Good knowledge of all relevant current legislation eg SEND Code of Practice and Children and Families Act. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Recognised qualification to a minimum of level 3 or equivalent experience.

Experience working with data, including ensuring the integrity of the data and cleaning bad data.

Feel confident working with service officers and educational establishments to establish the accuracy of data.
