Salary: £40,000 Base + Uncapped OTE (£60,000+)

Territory: South Wales, Bristol, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall (Ideally Based in Bristol)

Were seeking an exceptional Area Sales Manager to join a market-leading security and automation company. This role is perfect for someone with a background in security systems (CCTV, access control, automation) or complex technical solutions, who can confidently develop new business while managing existing accounts.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Hunting for New Business: Identify, target, and secure new clients across the Southwest region
  • Account Management: Nurture and grow relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Technical Consultations: Deliver tailored solutions by understanding customer requirements and showcasing the technical benefits of our products
  • Territory Planning: Create and execute a territory action plan, focusing on high-potential opportunities
  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads, book meetings, and manage your own sales pipeline
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demos, presentations, and technical briefings
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and proposals for internal stakeholders

Who Were Looking For:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in security, CCTV, access control, automation, or complex technical solutions
  • Strong business development skills you love the thrill of closing new deals
  • Technically minded with the ability to understand and communicate complex product features
  • Resilient and persistent comfortable facing rejection and bouncing back stronger
  • Self-motivated and organized able to manage your own schedule and work independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers
