Job Title: Area Sales Manager Heat Pumps, Radiators and Underfloor Heating

Industry Sector: HVAC, Domestic Heating, M&E Contractors, Mechanical Contractors, Plumbing Installers, Housebuilder Developers, Private Developers, M&E Consultants, Heat Pumps, Radiators and Underfloor Heating

Area to be covered: South West and South Wales

Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + up to £10,000 Bonus

Benefits: Electric Car + full benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager Heat Pumps, Radiators and Underfloor Heating will involve:

Field sales role selling the design, supply, commissioning and servicing of air to water heat pumps, radiators and underfloor heating solutions

Predominantly targeting domestic projects

Majority of your time selling into mechanical and plumbing contractors and installers

Remainder of time stimulating demand for products with housebuilders/ private developers and plumbing and heating merchants

50% new business development/ 50% account management role, working in a buddy system with technical support team in the office

Targeted to achieve circa £1m+

Project from 1-100 houses (typically £5,000-£6,000 per house)

Ideally 3-4 customer visits per day, four days per week

Exclusive distribution rights for Haier and Exhaust Air as well as distributing LG

The ideal applicant will be anArea Sales Manager Heat Pumps, Radiators and Underfloor Heating with:

Plumbing & heating or construction field sales experience

Heat pump, radiator and underfloor heating product knowledge is not essential

Open to building products field sales experience with timber frame, air tightness, windows, insulation (anything with strong compliance & regulations)

Contacts within mechanical/ plumbing contractors/ installers or housebuilder developers/ private developers may be beneficial

Ability to sell direct when required and back-sell via plumbing & heating merchants when needed

Strong technical capability preferred, although the internal team of technical support engineers can manage accounts once business has been won

New business and account development skills

Energetic and passionate

IT/ CRM proficient

Team player
