Salary - £45k to £55k basic depending on experience with 20% commission, car and excellent benefits.

Working with electrical distribution, wholesale and the OEM sector on a branded and white label basis. This employer is in an exciting phase of its future growth.

The Opportunity

This is a business development role with hundreds of active accounts across the Midlands and South of England. Due to recent mergers and acquisitions, the customer solution has strengthened and become much broader and there is superb opportunity to achieve growth through cross selling other product lines into these active customers and increasing the value of the accounts. This is warm business development focused on the distribution market.

The Desired Applicant

We are seeking and enthusiastic and positive sales professional that is confident in their ability to business develop and engage with clients and grow accounts across a wide territory. You will be experienced within the electrical sector, be this in electrical wholesale or with a manufacturer or within distribution, but you will understand the sector. This role is selling at group level, to operations directors, buying directors, managing directors focusing on contractual discussions, pricing and call offs etc. We are open to applications from existing business development professionals and also to applications from driven internal sales professional from within the sector who are hungry for advancement and career growth. This role would ideally suit a "can do" candidate who is not daunted by getting around a lot of customer accounts, can work independently and at times in quite a fast-paced environment.
