Email Retention Marketing ManagerBristol £45000

We are partnering with an exciting e-commerce brand that are seeing fantastic growth.  Strengthening their presence in the UK, EU, and UAE, they are now looking to appoint a Retention Marketing Manager. This role is their first senior marketing team appointment, offering the opportunity to drive customer retention strategy while playing a vital role in the team’s growth.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be the champion of the customers’ post-purchase journey. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and scaling the email and direct mail channels to engage customers, maximize retention, and meet key KPIs. You will apply a data-driven approach, using A/B testing and analytics to enhance every element of the customer experience.

Responsibilities:•    Build best-in-class email strategies to drive engagement and retention.•    Test various messaging, content, and segments to determine optimal formats that boost sales and customer loyalty.•    Leverage data insights to inform strategy and refine activities for continuous improvement.•    Manage direct mail initiatives and identify new channels for customer engagement.•    Brief the content team on assets for upcoming emails and campaigns, ensuring relevance and alignment with retention goals.•    Regularly report on retention activities, benchmarking results against KPIs and targets.•    As our retention activities expand, develop a high-performing retention marketing team and stay ahead of industry trends.

Experience •    3+ years in a marketing environment, focusing on retention and email marketing; we may consider exceptional candidates with slightly less experience.•    Experience in leading a team is advantageous.•    Comfortable interpreting complex data to drive optimization.•    A passion for contributing to the long-term success of a growing brand, with an adaptable approach suited to a small, agile team.
