I’m working with a Oil & Gas Information company looking to hire an interim Events Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts of several global events for 2025 and review their current events marketing strategy and make sure it’s best in class.
This role will be a 6 month contract to review their current event marketing strategy, how they approach events, the collateral, email marketing and prosing improvements.
The company is a Consultancy within the Oil and Gas sector, which regularly organises Global, European and UK-focused events. Experience marketing large corporate events is essential working across sectors like Plastics, Manufacturing, Energy, Data ect
The role will be based in their Bristol offices – 2 days per week (remote options are available for outstanding candidates).
- Reviewing their current events marketing strategy and posing improvements
- Writing & creating content for upcoming events
- Assisting on all event-related Marketing
- Post event reporting and theory crafting for future events
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to Event Marketing and have extensive experience in a market that has a thriving industry/industrial events space, Oil & Gas, Plastics, Manufacturing Data ect.
The Event Marketing Manager role requires the following experience:Â
- A passionate expert in event marketing with extensive expertise in organising market leading events
- Demonstrable experience in awareness, demand and lead generation campaign, focused on event awareness or attendance.
- A confident and independent worker, with the ability to proactively identify the needs of the customer and implement effective improvement.
- A hands-on / can-do approach, and capable of building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proven ability to identify, and manage projects to improve lead generation, lead flow, and conversion.
