Your new companyThis is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the team of a global company based in Bristol. This role will be responsible for constructing roadmaps for engineering products, identifying product gaps and defining required developments in order to improve market share. Your new roleYou will be responsible for understanding customer needs by building value proposition maps for current and new products and analysing technical trends. You will maintain product roadmaps by engaging with the wider business and customers to understand what the product requirements are, and translating these requirements into customer value propositions, development projects and plans. You will build market cases for new product development; translate analytics and data into actionable plans; develop product pricing; and generate new product launch plans. You will assess the quality of marketing materials versus value proposition, and you will analyse and provide strategic information to the business on margins and pricing regions. You will also be responsible for evaluating the ROI of new products, assessing performance versus business case. What you'll need to succeedYou will have a bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering. A Project Management qualification is also highly desirable (or the desire to obtain one). Analytical research skills, excellent relationship management skills and a customer-centric attitude are required. A good understanding of marketing principles and the ability to take highly abstract organisational information and distil it into clear concepts for all stakeholders, including non-technical audiences. What you'll get in returnThis is a permanent opportunity with a salary level of £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience. A discretionary bonus scheme is also on offer.
