Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Water Treatment Products

Industry Sector: Consulting Engineers, M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, FM Companies, Local Authorities, Building Owner, Specification Sales, Specifiers, Water Treatment, Plumbing & Heating, Heating Systems, Plumbing Solutions, Boilers Treatment, Hot Water Systems, Hot Water Cylinders and Commercial Projects Area to be covered: South West, South Wales & West Midlands Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000 + up to 50% bonus

Benefits: Electric company car & 6% pension, private healthcare and 25 days holidayThe role of the Regional Sales Manager - Water Treatment Products will involve:

  • Technical field based role, specifying/ selling a high quality range of water treatment products (scale conditioner) that protect and clean plumbing & heating systems such as: hot water cylinders, boilers, heating systems, water heaters
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling to and generating specifications with M&E consultants, M&E contractors, consulting engineers, FM companies, local authorities, building owners and other specifiers
  • A smaller element of your role will be spent back selling to the merchants / distribution channels
  • Focusing on commercial projects such as: universities, colleges, hotels, care homes, hospitality and restaurants
  • Inheriting a well-established area performing £500k
  • Project sizes typically between £3k - £17k
  • Conducting monthly CPD presentations and attend commercially driven events
  • Proposal writing, negotiating terms and implementing contractual agreements

The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager - Water Treatment Products with:

  • Must have commercial plumbing & heating industry experience
  • Must have experience selling to consulting engineers, M&E consultants, contractors, FM companies, M&E contractors, desiners etc
  • Technically competent, understand plant rooms and wider system designs
  • Open to a technical operations background looking to progress into field sales
  • Engineering background preferred
  • Knowledge/experience with related products such as: boilers, hot water systems, cylinders, water heaters
  • Strong in prospecting, closing and growing new accounts
