Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown’s sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.

JOB PURPOSE

This is a proactive partnership sales role whose primary objective is to drive new business revenue into the Bristol Sport Group, with particular focus on Bristol City and Bristol Bears Women’s teams. The successful candidate will need to work closely with other members of the Partnership Sales team and the retained agency, generating new leads, building on existing relationships and converting to new or enhanced partnerships.

This role will require someone who is dedicated and passionate about sales with previous proactive sales experience, has excellent people skills, attention to detail and the ability to create enticing sales material using powerpoint or Canva.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Working closely with the Partnership Sales team, the Hospitality Sales team and Non Match day Events team, you will create a collaborative target list, using agreed rationale and following the wider sales strategy.

· To identify the business requirements of each prospect and to create tailored proposals to meet each brand’ business needs.

· To present the proposition, develop the relationship with the prospect and to negotiate and close new partnership opportunities with support from the Chief Commercial Officer as appropriate.

· To work with the wider team and Fever Pitch to create enticing sales materials, tailored to each individual company.

· At all times to understand the variety of opportunities across the group to be able to adapt the conversation to provide the best fit for the prospect.

· To attend appropriate networking events and to host prospects on Match Days as required.

· To work with the account management team in the transition into the partnership ensuring thar the rights are delivered as outlined in the agreement.

· To work closely with and to build a relationship with key steakholders across the group.

Reporting

· To ensure prospect records and files are up to date.

· To update on pipeline and progress made at the Partnership Sales meeting each week.

· To keep the Booking and Pipeline report up to date for the Partnership Sales team.

Hours: 5 out of 7 days to include home games on evenings and weekends
