Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with a boutique B2B Events company, focusing on putting on industry-leading live events. The business focuses on digital transformation events within the insurance, finance, and banking sectors. The flagship shows are based in the UK, Europe & US & will welcome 2,500+ attendees.

The role of Sponsorship Sales Manager is to lead sponsorship sales through a consultative, relationship-driven approach. You will collaborate closely with marketing and operations to make impactful, results-driven sponsorships that provide lasting value for our clients. This position combines strategic sales, market intelligence, and cross-functional teamwork.

Key responsibilities of the Sponsorship Sales Manager - B2B Events:

  • Conduct scheduled sales calls with potential sponsors, with meetings pre-booked.
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects and clients, gaining insight into their goals, challenges, and target audiences.
  • Customise sponsorship packages to align with client objectives, suggesting new offerings and pricing as needed.
  • Manage contract renewals with existing sponsors to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Close deals efficiently, managing commercial terms, contracts, and deliverables with urgency.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline in HubSpot, accurately logging call notes and client insights.
  • Partner with marketing to research and identify new target companies and contacts, including competitors of current clients.
  • Work with the operations team to understand sponsor success metrics, including target audience, brand objectives, and KPIs.
  • Provide input on event design to maximize sponsor ROI and long-term value.
  • Offer strategic insights post-event to strengthen retention and renewal strategies.

Key requirements of this Sponsorship Sales Manager - B2B Events

  • Ideally having 3 years' + experience within sponsorship sales, though other business development experience within B2B would be considered.
  • That you come from a sponsorship, sales, business development or account management background
  • Proficiency in using tools such as HubSpot to track pipelines and generate reports.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to co-create new services or pricing models.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be based in the UK .
  • Willingness to travel internationally if required (typically for 1-2 annual events).
  • Comfortable with working remotely, but head office is Bristol based so keen to have a touch point there on a monthly basis.
