Venn Group Chief Architect – Skynet (SC Cleared)6 Month Contract Bristol – Hybrid Rate DOE (Inside IR35, Umbrella)
Our client require a Chief Architect to join them on a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic technical director of the ground infrastructure (network management systems, satellites, secure data handling)
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and MOD
- Define and maintain end-to-end architectural framework for the ground segment
- Lead the integration of ground segment components with satellite constellations and military communications network
- Design and implement a technology roadmap that supports the modernizations including emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, cloud)
- Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams including systems engineer, network and cybersecurity experts
Skills Required:
- Significant years’ of experience in satellite communications of related telecommunications architecture
- Extensive experience and knowledge of satellite ground station infrastructure, RF systems, network management systems and satellite communications
- Proven track record of engaging with senior military and government stakeholders as well as external industry partners
- Experience leading large-scale technical programs or architecture teams within a defence or high-security environment
