Academics are working with in partnership with a global provider of childcare seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join their nurseries in various locations around Bristol. Full time and part time roles are available!

As a Nursery Assistant, you will help to create a fun and nurturing environment, supporting the developmental needs of children aged 4 months to 5 years old in your care. You will work closely with the nursery team to assist in planning activities, ensuring the children's safety, and providing a positive learning experience.

Role overview

  • Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children
  • Support the daily routine, including mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play

A great Nursery Assistant will have

  • Previous experience working with young children such as babysitting, childcare, social care, teaching assistant etc
  • A passion for a career in childcare
  • A strong understanding of the early years foundation stage (EYFS)
  • Amazing communication skills
