KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Tutor/Assessor, available for both trainee and qualified candidates, for a home/field-based position requiring travel flexibility.
The starting salary for trainee candidates is £26,500, while qualified candidates can earn up to £32,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with additional bonus potential.
Candidates must have substantial experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in a Residential Children's Home, and experience in delivering staff training is highly desirable.
While being a qualified Assessor for Apprenticeships in Children & Young People Families Practitioner/Residential Childcare is preferred, it is not essential as training will be provided.
Applicants must possess a full, clean UK driving license and access to their own vehicle, and be prepared to manage a caseload of learners and support them through their training.

Must hold solid, occupational experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a Residential Children's Home.

Experience of delivering staff training would be highly desirable.

Ideally be a qualified and experienced Assessor of Apprenticeships in Children & Young People Families Practitioner / Residential Childcare - though this is not essential, as our client can train you up!

Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
