We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to support the objectives of our care services, promoting a culture of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. This role is crucial in ensuring the provision of high-quality services, enabling young people’s needs and priorities to be met with available resources.
Day-to-day of the role:- Maintain a high-quality service by working closely with colleagues to deliver tailored services to young people.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, personalized services through assessment, person-centered planning, and regular outcome-focused reviews.
- Take a lead in the day-to-day operations including client interaction and conducting service audits.
- Support young people in achieving their targets as per their support plans, focusing on developing independent living skills.
- Provide access to advice, support, and training related to welfare, housing, and resettlement.
- Supervise and train staff to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure compliance with company policies and local authority requirements.
- Manage a team involved in the direct support of young people, ensuring professional and timely support delivery.
- Promote high standards and compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Engage in human resources duties including recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisal.
- Over a year of experience working with young people in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policies and Procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and data protection laws.
- Competitive hourly rate starting from £14.50.
