Role: Assistant Flood Risk Engineer

This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to join an experienced Flood Risk Team based in Bristol. You will have the chance to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage, Environmental and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients. You will also have the chance to work on wetland restoration, flood alleviation and climate change projects.

As an Assistant Engineer you will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Estimation, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Designs. You may also have the opportunity to complete Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller. Training will be provided by an experienced team.

Candidates are required to have the following essential criteria;

-Academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering.

-Experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Designs.

-Ideally live in the South West or be willing to relocate to the local area.
