Based in Bristol, my client is a well-established Civil and Structural Design consultancy dedicated to innovative design and sustainable construction. We're looking for a competent Assistant Structural Engineer to join a growing team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

Working as an Assistant Structural Engineer you will:

  • Design & Analysis: Develop structural designs for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
  • Technical Excellence: Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools and provide technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

In order to be considered for this Assistant Structural Engineer position:

  • Qualifications: A degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in structural engineering, with a solid background in design and analysis of various structural systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, Tekla) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
