My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for an Associate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join an established team based in Bristol.

It is essential that applicants are Chartered Engineers who have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using Microdrainage.

Candidates are also required to have experience reviewing hydraulic modelling.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced team of Engineers to complete varied residential, greenfield, commercial and industrial projects for Local Authorities, House Builders, Contractors and Private Sector Clients. You will be expected to manage projects, mentor team members and review/sign off work across England and Scotland.

Applicants will also be supported to review and amend the following;

-Flood risk assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface water management plans.

-Surface water and foul drainage strategies.

-Pollution prevention.

-Complex SuDS Design using Microdrainage for residential tower blocks, greenfield developments and airports.

-Energy projects.

-Project management.

-Hydraulic Modelling.

-Team development and mentoring.

-Develop new business opportunities with new and existing Clients.
