About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Associate Asset Manager to join a dynamic team managing a portfolio of renewable energy assets. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in optimising the performance of solar and wind projects, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and contractual standards, and driving value across the portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional asset management services. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects, utilise advanced data analysis tools, and contribute to the growth of the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of solar and wind assets, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.

  • Monitor and optimise contractor performance to meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, landlords, and stakeholders.

  • Identify equipment faults, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot operational problems with support from O&M and monitoring teams.

  • Prepare detailed asset management reports and analyse performance data to drive improvements.

  • Manage spare parts, insurance claims, warranty claims, and site budgets.

  • Conduct site visits to assess the condition and performance of wind and solar farms.

  • Ensure data security and confidentiality in line with GDPR and company policies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects and major works.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • A degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros and Visual Basic.

  • Proficiency in Python or SQL for data analysis.

  • A strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, particularly wind or solar, with experience in asset management, O&M, construction, or consultancy.

  • Knowledge of remote monitoring systems for plant and equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently across the UK and occasionally overseas.
