Associate Director Circa £70,000Bristol/Bath Area We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a consultancy as an Associate Director. The role involves leading the civil operations at a highly respected company. They are looking for someone who ideally comes from an infrastructure/drainage design background with client-facing experience. You will be working in a range of sectors including a mixture of residential, industrial, and commercial projects. Requirements:
  • You will need a degree in Civil Engineering and be undertaking professional development towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience working for a consultancy carrying out projects and have some experience in management.
  • You should be keen to develop professionally with the aim of leading projects and growing the consultancy.
  • This consultancy is open to a Principal Engineer taking the next step to Associate, or a seasoned Associate who might have their eyes on a senior management position in the near future.
Responsibilities:
  • Managing a talented and experienced civils teams ensuring the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Developing business for the office
  • Maintaining existing relationships
  • Running team meetings
  • Work force planning
  • Taking responsibility for recruitment and growth
  • Financial and commercial responsibility
  • Coordination with other disciplines and regions of the business.
