Are you an experienced graduate structural engineer with a passion for architecturally led structural design? RGB Recruitment have over 20 years working with top structural engineering consultancies across the Southwest, we have recently partnered with a world class structural practice with a view to aiding in the growth of a new regional office in Bristol. We are looking for engineers who are motivated by large one of a kind, internationally significant projects. This business has the unusual mix of a small personal feel while at the same time employing circa 300 technical professionals across several offices. This business is unique in the fact they are made up of both mainstream and niche structural disciplines with an entire team dedicated to solutions involving emerging materials and technologiesWhat can you expect?A super modern flexible working environment with top of the range design tools and resources.Work drastically ranges in value into the billions and includes unique projects both in the UK and overseas, partnering with some of the country’s most prestigious architects to produce ground-breaking designs, both in scale and complexity. It is not unusual for these projects to be recognised on a global scale. Responsibilities will include;
  • Structural design and analysis
  • Following projects from inception to completion
  • Working closely with other design teams and architects
  • Coordinating your time between different projects
  • Developing your experience with contemporary materials
  • Attending and contributing to design team meetings
  • Attending site meetings where possible
Who are we looking for? This office already has it’s senior team in place and has ambitions to grow quickly, the opportunity which joining during this team’s infancy presents is plain to see. We are looking for someone who has at least a coupe of years design experience working with building structures and a degree in civil or structural engineering. No project is ever the same so we are looking for someone who is motivated, ambitious and enjoys the challenge of an ever changing workload.
