Role: Highway Engineer
聽
Purpose of the Job: Lead the design and delivery of engineering projects from inception to completion. Your innovative solutions will be pivotal in supporting the clients urban transport objectives.
聽
Key Responsibilities:
路Manage and deliver complex construction projects in an urban environment.
路Conduct initial, interim, and final surveys and investigations.
路Complete designs, calculations, specifications, plans, estimates, and reports using CAD and specialist software.
路Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
路Prepare, issue, update, and close statutory notices as per legal requirements.
路Liaise with statutory undertakers and other departments to manage conflicts and coordinate delivery.
路Oversee financial and contract management to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Additional Responsibilities:
路Lead project design teams and deliver high-value construction projects.
路Provide specialist technical designs and guidance for multi-project programmes.
路Foster the professional development of yourself and colleagues, including mentoring towards professional accreditation.
路Contribute to the development of services, policies, and practices.
